Startupbootcamp, Europe’s leading startup accelerator, just revealed the 10 startups that will participate in the first cycle of its AIvolution Accelerator, which is part of the Bold 2 investment portfolio.

Bold 2 is a portfolio of 300 impact-focused startups across 10 distinct Growth Domains, tradable on the Dutch stock exchange via Nx'change.

This initiative is part of a broader ambition to invest in 100,000 startups by 2030. The goal is to support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering innovation and growth in startups across multiple sectors.

The AIvolution Accelerator focuses on cutting-edge AI and Web3 technologies in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Web3, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), and Predictive Analytics, with broad applicability across industries such as Pharma, Luxury & Fashion, Energy & Utilities, Fintech & Insurtech, Sports & Health, Mobility & Logistics, Edu & Med, and Manufacturing.

Over 200 applicants applied for a chance to participate in the accelerator program, but only 21 teams were invited for the first Selection Day event on May 21. The teams were given the opportunity to present their innovative business models to a tailored panel of investors, industry leaders, mentors, partners, and the Startupbootcamp team during the digital event.

After the Selection Day, 10 startups were selected to join the accelerator program and Startupbootcamp's Bold 2 investment portfolio. Below is an overview of the selected startups:

  • BlockchainRe - Asset tokenization for Real Estate documentation through NFTs
  • Sailes Yes - Sales Outbound CRM for today’s sales teams, based on AI
  • iCheck - Mobile medical guidance with doctor recommendations
  • LIR - Provides a music streaming platform that integrates a digital collectables marketplace
  • Gimme - Decentralized marketplace that lets anyone turn a prepaid mobile SIM into a virtual debit card using blockchain
  • Aiclou - AI applied to Horeca to improve customer experience in restaurants
  • Pathway english - AI powered personal assistance for the preparation of IELTS examinations
  • Know Your Code - AI solution for analysis of SW source code for immediate feedback and suggestion for reducing tech Debt
  • BTC Sender - Solution for multi-account BTC transfer
  • BizDex - Solution to find the right people to expand your business network

The AIvolution Accelerator offers a hybrid acceleration model, blending three months of online learning with in-person sessions in Milan, Italy. It includes mentorship from AI and web3 industry experts, broad networking opportunities, preparation for investment, a cash contribution, and access to exclusive technology deals. The accelerator offers extensive support in establishing a thriving business, encompassing all aspects, from developing a product to securing funding. This program equips startups with the tools necessary to accomplish their objectives, grow, and realize their full potential.

The end of the accelerator program is marked by Impact Day, scheduled for September 11, 2024. It’s the final event where the selected founders pitch and present their startups to a tailored audience of mentors, partners, and investors.
