In the last 15 years, I’ve worked at some of the most sophisticated advertisers in the world to keep pushing the envelope in marketing technology. As freelance Marketing Intrepreneur, I’m involved in several scale-ups, like VanMoof, ikbenFrits and Gobear. I’ve also advised investors such as CVC capital in their due diligence. As VP digital at Sprint, I’ve in-housed online marketing and proved incremental effect of online on sales in their 5000 stores. As CMO at Coolblue, the Dutch example for customer centricity, I’ve pushed for tests to proof incrementality and initiated online first branding. While at Google, I oversaw the partnership with one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated advertisers, Booking.com. Before Google, I was CMO at Deloitte Fast50 finalist EasyToBook.com (acquired by Cheaptickets in 2011) and co-founder at SEM agency ClearSense (acquired by World Directories in 2006).
