Startupbootcamp FinTech London Mentor
I’m a programmer turned to the dark side (I went to law school and became a lawyer). Then turned entrepreneur and investor.
I had a chance to work and travel in 54 countries, working with startups of every kind: from telecom to online banking and energy trading, to very traditional business such as solar panels (China), steel (India), motorbike (Thailand), and many more.
AN UNUSUAL JOURNEY
I’m employee #8 of Wind, a telecom and internet company sold for €12.1 billion ($15.6B) to Orascom in 2005. In this company, I’ve leaned that startup is exciting and that I’m very good at it. I’ve also learned that I can be a very bad and unhappy employee when the startup growth into a traditional company.
