Sid is an entrepreneur, HealthTech evangelist, STEM advocate and community curator. With over 22 years’ experience in technology, his skillset includes business advisory, startups, strategy and operations, mentoring and community development.
In his 20+ years experience in ICT, Sid has successfully launched businesses, developed communities and created not-for-profit organisations that further cross-industry technology opportunities in Australia.
His health technology consulting business, Corazon Systems specialises in the design, implementation and management of a secure, paperless and efficient cloud hosted practice for small to medium healthcare practitioners.
A skilled tribe builder and network innovator, Sid was instrumental in the growth of the digital health community in Australia.In three years he grew the community to become the fourth largest healthtech meet-up group in the world, with over 2000 members. He is also the Co-Founder of Peak15 HealthTech, a rapidly-growing healthtech commercialisation and mentoring network.
Passionate about the intersection of entrepreneurship and STEM, he launched not-for-profit organisation BrainSTEM in June 2016, with the goal to create a global STEM collaboration platform. Sid is a guest lecturer at the University of Melbourne Masters in Health IT program and has extensive mentoring experience, including the IBM Smart Camp, Swinburne University ARC Bio Devices PhD program, Hacking Health and Health XL Ageing Hackathon.
