At age 18, Nam’s career began at PKF Melbourne as an intern whilst studying my Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Business Law) degree at Monash University. Combining work and study has honed his time management and organization skills. In August 2012, PKF Melbourne integrated with BDO Australia further strengthening its position as the fifth largest accounting firm. In 2013, he ventured out to join the automotive industry to contribute his experience and knowledge within Company, Indirect Tax, and Business Law.

In recent years recently his role has expanded to maintain Corporate Governance, Risk and Tax Compliance at Honda Australia. His responsibilities were spread across multiple areas of its corporate affairs including the review of internal controls, company compliance with Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX), provision of legal advice relating to Australian Consumer Laws and compliance with global corporate governance guidelines set by Honda Motor Co (Japan).

In 2016, his interests shifted towards strategic management, leading him to Toyota Motor Corporation Australia Limited as Business Planning Manager. At Toyota, his primary responsibility is to administer the Hoshin Kanri (Policy Management) process and assist with the development of medium to long-term strategies.

In his spare time, he loves tinkering with cars and catching up with the latest technology news. To keep an active life, he enjoys running laps around the Botanical Gardens with friends and practicing Taekwondo weekly. He is a strong advocate in the theory of Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) and aims to apply this theory in every aspect of life.
