Product Manager at Nutmeg
Startupbootcamp FinTech London Mentor
I enjoy building businesses and creating change. Educated as a physicist, I moved swiftly away into finance / technology.
I spent the first few years of my career within a more traditional financial environment, trying to create innovation and change from inside. My first major project after graduation was in Hong Kong, where I helped Commerzbank design the right product for the Asian market and build the system to deliver it at the right time. Back to London, I implemented a change to the organisational structure, which allowed to have greater visibility on customer data, streamline processes and improve company’s competitive position.
It was then time to broaden my horizon. I went to the West coast of the US to study business at Stanford and get immersed into the Silicon Valley entrepreneurial environment. I spent there two years, where I learnt about innovation, design, entrepreneurial ventures and leadership. By the end of the program, I decided that the best use of what I had learnt was to contribute to create a similar environment in Europe.
At Nutmeg, as one of the first employees, I have created and managed the product delivery process across the business, led the product launch and spearheaded readiness for two marketing campaigns with over £1M of spend. Nutmeg has grown from a less than ten person start-up to a structured, multi-award winning business with 40 employees and international customers. I now manage the data analysis function within Nutmeg and I’m responsible for all Nutmeg customer-facing product changes, from defining vision and strategy to coordinating development and launch.
