Ms. Foley worked as an interpreter to the Osaka Governor from 1987 to 1989. Then, she pursued an active career as a simultaneous interpreter. In 1994, she founded MAID Japan as a sole sales agency of MAID plc, a British online database company listed on LSE. After selling the business, she co-founded Silver Egg Technology with Thomas Foley in 1998 and engaged in building the business as Senior Managing Director and COO. The company got listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Mothers) in 2016. She resigned from the board of Silver Egg Technology and assumed the position of co-founder in 2015. In 2010, she became the president of her family business Daidomon after buying it back from the fund that took over the business through the civil rehabilitation proceedings in 2006. Daidomon is a well-known yakiniku restaurant chain in the west Japan. She is active in the startup community in Osaka.
