Quick Bio: Professor Gómez is a recognized expert in making sense of disruptive uncertainty, and helps entrepreneurial leaders and their organizations become more systematic about identifying the emerging business opportunities inherent to market ambiguity. He is the Startup Business Development Manager at Amazon Web Services for Spain and Portugal, holds a Computer Science Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the Global Executive MBA from IE Business School and the Executive Education Program from Harvard Business School.
I have two decades of hands-on experience designing, producing and selling state-of-the-art multiplatform solutions, including definition and development of end-to-end platform architectures, specifically in B2B environments where data services played a major role, including enterprise transformation, fine tuning the business strategy, and improving the operating model.
I also have extensive experience forging strategic partnerships, forecasting growth, assessing risks and keeping all relevant stakeholders informed of the progress. My business sectors include IT, Telecom, New Media, bio-pharma, oil&gas, air & railroad transportation, consumer goods, retail, services and security.
I studied Computer Science Engineering at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid – the most prestigious tech University in Spain – received a Master´s degree from IE Business School (International Executive MBA, ranked #1 worldwide by The Economist), and completed an Executive Education Program from Harvard Business School. Bilingual Spanish-English. Lived and worked across Europe and the US.
