Jehangir has been a strategist for 11 years, with experience both in-house with large corporations and within consultancy. He has analysed multiple market trends and competitor landscapes and is recognised for his ability in framing ambiguous and complex problems. This capability is invaluable not just to incumbent businesses, but also growth businesses working through a business model canvas.
Sensing a growing opportunity, Jehangir pivoted his career 2 years ago when he moved into Corporate Innovation at the start of 2014. He takes unscoped potential business opportunities and defined Proof of Concept or pilot projects to reduce business risk and accelerate speed to market. These projects improve business understanding and build clarity for potential benefits of large projects in risk-adverse organisations. He has worked closely with Fintech partners to leverage Open Innovation, Accelerators and start-ups to create potential Disruptive innovation.
Jehangir has been a part-time enterprise mentor since 2012, with a particular focus of working with social enterprises and Fintech start-ups. His recognised work in this space, has led to being invited to judging panels at start-up contests.
Prior to joining Lloyds Banking Group, he has worked at Deloitte, Detica and the Ministry of Defence. Jehangir holds a Masters Degree from Imperial College in Electronic Engineering.
