A seasoned Business Development and Strategy professional who has held global roles across sales, business development, strategy and investor relations, both in the financial services and technology sectors.
Gaelle currently advises high growth companies on strategic business planning, marketing, business development and fund raising, helping them reach their full potential. Formerly, she was a Director in a dedicated new business strategy Think Tank at Credit Suisse Investment Banking & Capital Markets group. She built a client driven FinTech & Innovation strategy to position Fintech companies across Credit Suisse businesses, supporting their growth and investment initiatives, as well as facilitating strategic partnerships.
Prior to Credit Suisse, she was a Business Development consultant at Platina Partners, a Renewable Energy Private Equity Fund and was responsible to develop and lead the investor relations, business development, and marketing practices for the fund. Prior to this she was a Client Advisor at UBS Wealth Management, where she sourced new clients and provided investment advice to a range of investors.
Prior to working in the finance sector, Gaelle spent over 10 years in the technology sector. At Cisco Systems, she held global sales, partner management and strategic marketing roles for the EMEA region. She led Business Intelligence and Market Intelligence roles focusing on EMEA and on Emerging Markets, as well as the Energy, Telecom and Finance industries. She was a Competitive Intelligence Manager focusing on strategic business planning.
Before joining Cisco, she worked for high-growth companies including M3, a fast growing SAP logo partner company, subsequently acquired by the RDL Group. She was a founding member of a sales team that built the company to £20m of revenue within 4 years.
She studied International Relations at Colorado State University (BA), and holds a BA in International Trade and Relations, with minors in Economics from the University of Northern Colorado in 1995. A Belgian national, she speaks English, French and Dutch. She is married with two children and has lived in London for 20 years.
