Eleanor has over 20 years of international energy and management experience in public, private and governmental sectors as well as NGOs. She is an expert in energy economics, access to capital markets, network/product design, energy pricing methodologies, regulatory and policy development and implementation processes.
Eleanor started her career at DuPont Canada. After serving as the Vice President of Energy Trading at Goldman Sachs and the Senior Vice President of Commodities Trading at Lehman Brothers, she founded her own company, Commodity Reach, to identify, develop and implement customised projects on current global energy markets, finance, regulatory and climate change policy to European & US financial, commercial and governmental organisations.
Eleanor graduated from INSEAD’s International Directors Programme where she focused on Corporate Governance and is currently pursuing a PhD in Financial Management with a focus on capital market risk for energy import/export countries at the University of London SOAS. She is also a visiting professor lecturing on energy economics at SciencesPo Paris. And she serves as treasurer and board member for HELIO International, an NGO with a focus on energy policy monitoring and sustainable development.
