Dr. Torben Daeneke is the receiver of the highly competitive Vice Chancellor’s Research Fellowship at RMIT University. He leads a research team that focuses on various aspects of materials science and nanotechnology, developing innovative solutions to technological challenges in the fields of renewable energies, electronic devices and sensor applications. Dr. Daeneke’s research is at the forefront of the field and he has established a vast international network of scientific experts. Dr. Daeneke has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals including Nature Chemistry, Nature Communications and JACS. His aim is to enable innovation through material design, overcoming technological limitations and enabling real world solutions for today’s societal challenges.
