David puts digital health startups on the map. His interest and expertise in the fusion of health and tech has developed out of three years of PR experience working for Rocket Internet, pharmaceutical companies and digital health startups. In June 2016, he organized an open stakeholder dialogue for a pharmaceutical company at the European Parliament, involving MEPs, a digital health startup from Berlin, Microsoft and various NGOs. He is currently a Strategic Communications Advisor in Healthcare at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA.
Part of his daily work is the development of PR and social media strategies as well as the preparation and execution of media launches in countries such as Spain, the UK, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Bangladesh. Through his work with journalists from publications like Bloomberg, Handelsblatt or Ärzte Zeitung, David has developed a deep understanding of how to successfully “sell” your startup story to the media. His specialities are CEO and executive positioning (MEDICA, FT Innovate Latin America), strategic communications, global media relations and healthcare industry expertise.
