With more than 20 years of experience in the wine and food sector, he has become highly skilled in creating, planning, developing, managing and coordinating restaurants, bar and hospitality businesses.
At a very young age he started working in one of the most prestigious and well known wine bars in Rome: the Enoteca Costantini. This marked the start of a true passion, together with being his first experience in the field.
He is the creator of the “Simposio”, an innovative idea that redefined the concept of wine bars in Rome.
He currently follows with a group of friends the project of the restaurant “Antico Arco”, still one of the best addresses in Rome.
He took part in the creation and management of “Gusto”, an ambitious multi-purpose project that includes a restaurant, a pizzeria, a wine bar and an emporium. Gusto has been a true revolution that completely change the habits of the city of Rome: a new space able to contain up to 1.000 people per day. In 2003, when the original project doubled and the Osteria della Frezza was opened, Dario Laurenzi became the general manager of the entire “Gusto” group.
“Palatium” regional wine bar is another innovative project that resulted from his creativity.
Since many years Dario Laurenzi has been speaking at conferences for the development and management of wine & food business activities. He is currently a lecturer in Food Hospitality Management at the “Citta del Gusto – Gambero Rosso”.
In 2004 he founded Laurenzi Consulting, the first food consulting company in Rome.
