Bashak is a serial entrepreneur, digital marketing strategist, and e-commerce expert. She is passionate about building brands, telling stories, creating innovative ways of doing business, inspiring her customers with the data-driven methods and generate growth around e-commerce. Her seventeen years of experience outlines a proven track record and a unique perspective that extends well beyond traditional marketing.

An entrepreneur by nature, Bashak founded Altinci Cadde, the first online furniture selling & home décor company in Turkey, in 2011. Later she opened the first Altinci Cadde Showroom in Istanbul. After running it for 3 years, she sold the company to a Turkish media conglomerate Dogan Yayin Holding. She moved to NYC in 2013 to found NYFU (New York Functional Furniture), an e-commerce company that designed, produced and sold smart furniture for small spaces. She decided to establish ROAD (Return on Advertising Design), is a full-service digital marketing agency operating in Miami, Istanbul, and New York. She is also a Founder and head of Marketing Communication of Urbanarba -, She connects cities with the public and private sectors to boost the local economy and positively impact the community.

She believes in empowering women will transform the society that why she voluntarily supports Arya Women Investment Platform as the Digital Strategist. She has been coaching the entrepreneurs on how to develop efficient e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.

In 2017 she was named a “Young Society Leader” by The American Turkish Society, and in 2018 was listed as one of Inspiring Women of Turkey by Dunya Finance and Business Daily.

Bashak is a passionate and avid public speaker. She enjoys sharing her thoughts on the future of the marketing, trends.

She was born and raised in Turkey, studied e-commerce at the University of Westminster in London. She works in three cities, speaks two languages, and have a son.
