Aysen Savci has 25 years of multidisciplinary work and high level management experience covering both private and public sectors in Sweden and in Turkey. Her experience broadens from ‘operational efficiency, logistics and international business development’ to ‘marketing and service sales’. Before joining AMROP Boardinc as partner in the summer of 2010, she was the Vice President of the Swedish Trade Council based in Stockholm, for four years, responsible for the Marketing functions of the Council as well as holding the operational responsibility for the region South Europe, MENA and Central Asia. She was the head of the Istanbul office of the Council, as Sweden’s Trade Commissioner to Turkey, between 1997-2000 and 2003-2006. In 2005, she initiated the GOOD program to create awareness and understanding of the “good corporate governance principles” in Turkey. She was the Vice President of Ericsson in Turkey, responsible for Shared Services 2001-2003. Besides professionally assisting many Swedish companies in their inter- nalization efforts Mrs. Savcihas also worked within an EU project aiming to develop Turkish SMEs to EU standards as well as a project for initiating a portal for Turkish software exporters and international market- ing activities initiated by the Turkish Informatics Foundation. Aysen Savciholds a BsC in Industrial Engi- neering and a Technical Licenciate Degree in Material Flow Systems. She was the Board Member of Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Istanbul between 2002 and 2004 and supplementary board member of SWECARE between 2007 and 2010. For the time being she is working with art glass at her own studio, is an active member of the advisory board of the ‘Independent Woman Directors’ project and board member of the TURSAK foundation.
