What would you say if you had the chance to meet with a leading VC over a nice cup of tea? Well, our Tea With A VC series has returned!

September’s Tea With A VC welcomes Accel – a leading VC firm with the likes of Slack, Deliveroo, BlaBlaCar Dropbox, and many others under their portfolio.

The event is designed to give startup founders the opportunity to receive instant one-to -one feedback on their startup, fundraising goals, and growth ambitions.

What’s The Deal?

Each month, Startupbootcamp’s Tea With A VC event connects 10 fundraising technology startups with a VC from some of Europe’s most active investment firms.

This month, 10 selected entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to have a 20 minute 1:1 meeting with James Cameron from Accel who will give instant feedback to the selected teams on their fundraising goals and pitching skills.

Who Is The VC?

Accel have invested in many well-known technology brands including Facebook, Slack, Spotify, and Dropbox.

James Cameron joined Accel in 2013 where he focuses on security, fintech, enterprise software and marketplace businesses. Prior to joining Accel, James was part of the tech banking team at Morgan Stanley as well as being a founder of a Saas-based research platform for investment managers.

Who Is It For?

We’re looking for 10 technology companies meeting the following criteria:

  • B2B and B2C
  • Hardware or software
  • Looking to raise a minimum of €1.8 million (Series A)
  • Product in the market or pre-revenue

*Not suitable for Bio or Cleantech companies*
