Austin, USA – FinTech & CyberSecurity FastTrack
On the 12th of June, the Startupbootcamp FinTech & CyberSecurity program welcomes you in Austin for a FastTrack day as part of its international tour to support the area’s best talents in FinTech & CyberSecurity. The 10 most promising startups selected from the applications will be invited to present their innovative ideas to the Startupbootcamp’s team and fellow entrepreneurs, get mentor feedback and learn more about the Amsterdam-based FinTech & CyberSecurity accelerator program.
Who should apply?
Any startup operating in FinTech, CyberSecurity or InsurTech industries is encouraged to join a FastTrack event. We are specifically looking for the companies in these areas:

The experience is extremely valuable for everyone attending: teams learn from personalized feedback they get as well as from feedback that other teams receive. As the event is informal, you will also have the chance to connect with the mentors and other participating teams from the local ecosystem.
Prior to joining the Austin Technology Council as CEO, Barbary Brunner’s 25-year career has included senior executive roles at worldwide leading technology brands and a successful strategy and organizational development consultancy. Past positions include Chief Marketing Officer for Experian’s Pricegrabber business, CMO and Head of Strategy for Yahoo!’s Media Division, Director of Global Planning for Microsoft’s MSN business, and Executive Producer for a division of Sierra Online. These honed Barbary’s passion as a technologist and her leadership excellence in the areas of tech, business growth strategy, and human capital development. Her experience building and running global product, brand and strategy teams, plus her work with startups, non-profits and civic organizations as an investor, board member and lobbyist, are put to use daily in her roles as CEO of the largest and oldest tech industry association in Central Texas, and as one of Austin’s technology thought leaders. https://www.linkedin.
Jennifer Gooding is Principal of PRIME|PR, a technology – focused communications agency with representation in major cities throughout the world. With over sixteen years in public relations and business development, she has achieved tens of millions of ROI for nonprofits and companies ranging in size from startups to those on the Fortune 100 list, obtaining full-page profile pieces and other extensive media coverage in sought-after media outlets such as Tech Crunch, TIME, Fast Co., and 60 Minutes. She has worked with both fin tech and AI startups, as well both large and small cyber security companies. Long time Silicon Valley technology and startup veteran, Paul O’Brien is known as SEO’Brien for his extensive past in the search industry. Now Texan, O’Brien works in Venture Capital Economic Development, serving the investment and venture capital economies directly, through thought leadership, consulting, and startup development. He’s the founder of MediaTech Ventures, a founder and managing director of the Texas Technology Council, partner in 1839 Ventures, and mentor in such programs as Founder Institute.
Notably O’Brien is a seasoned marketer with an early career at Yahoo! and HP’s. From there he led the early growth of startups such as Outright.com(Acquired by GoDaddy), Zvents (Acquired by eBay’s Stubhub), and MicroVentures (Venture Capital). With technical expertise, O’Brien has consulted with various web properties, designed and developed sites, online communities, e-commerce stores, and web services.
