Melbourne, Australia [8 April 2020]:

The world-leading startup accelerator, Startupbootcamp (SBC), is excited to announce their newest partnership with Australian corporate services company CoSec and by doing so, aims to help their global startup and scaleup portfolio efficiently expand into the Australian Market.

When an offshore business or startup comes to Melbourne to commence their 3-month accelerator program with SBC, they are hit with a seemingly complex web of regulatory and reporting requirements.  CoSec’s full suite of incorporation, hosting and compliance services offer a streamlined, transparent and fixed model that will guide the startups through a successful business establishment process in Australia.

CoSec is partnering with Startupbootcamp across three Melbourne based accelerators, SmartEnergy, Fintech, and Sports and Event Tech. Their in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the Australian regulatory and reporting landscape spans a broad range of industries, including energy and resources, fintech and software giving their customers a simple, inexpensive, faster way to manage the offshore business expansion laws and regulations in Australia.

CEO and CoFounder of CoSec, Blair Lucas, said

“We are delighted to partner with Startupbootcamp as they continue to expand their world-class startup accelerator portfolio in Australia. In any market, being able to remove barriers and enable companies to thrive within their chosen field is essential to their success.

CoSec delivers a streamlined, centralised approach to facilitating offshore operations in Australia, providing resident directors, a registered office, and simplifying legal, financial and governance compliance. This enables our clients to focus on their core business and growth strategies, with the support of a trusted, established local partner.

We’re particularly excited about this partnership with Startupbootcamp, because of their plans to drive innovation and opportunity in Melbourne, and the opportunity that we have to contribute to its continued success across its global network.”

CEO and Founder of Startupbootcamp Australia, Trevor Townsend, said,

“Each market has its own corporate and compliance regime that companies need to comply with, and for a new market entrant, this can seem complex and an ever-changing environment. CoSec will be offering an invaluable service to our offshore startup and scale-up portfolio, to help them fast track their business establishment here in Australia. We’re really looking forward to having Blair and his team on board with us in this new partnership, providing a fast and simple way for our startups to establish and efficiently scale here in Melbourne.”

CoSec is going to bring great value to SBC’s current startup portfolio as well as their alumni from previous cohorts. By reducing the burden and simplifying the process of complying with the legal, financial and governance requirements, CoSec will provide a resource to startups allowing them to focus more effectively on advancing and scaling during their accelerator program.
