In their third on-site week, the 5 startups ai360, apperto, Bederr, Koibanx and Siembro forged new bonds with strategic corporates in the FinTech ecosystem, visited the headquarters of from the program partners Visa, Banregio and Ignia, and had the opportunity to plug into the growing ecosystem of Monterrey.
The third out of the six scheduled on-site weeks started at the Finnovista LOFT in Mexico City, where the program mentors from Credijusto and QED investors, Nir Hindi, from TheArtian, and our very own Program Director, Christine Chang, shared their insights with the entrepreneurs on how to approach the FinTech ecosystem once they concluded the scale program. They talked about how important it is to work hard and with dedication to their scale-up projects.
Likewise, the on-site training also included a visit to our partner, Visa’s, offices, where the startups worked in groups with senior managers who are specialized in Insurtech investment.
The Monterrey startup ecosystem is ranked 2nd in Mexico and 81st globally, and so the scale-up entrepreneurs traveled there with our partners Ignia and Banregio. Mentoring sessions took place in the city, where they also had the opportunity to get to know this growing ecosystem first-hand by pitching in front of a selected audience in an event at Monterrey Digital Hub.
After this intense third edition of the on-site week of the Startupbootcamp Scale FinTech, we are already working on providing more powerful tools and learnings to our cohort of top-notch entrepreneurs who are transforming the future of financial services in Latin America in the fourth on-site week, that will take place from 16th to 27th March.
