AMSTERDAM, 18 October 2019 – Startupbootcamp Amsterdam will list its next FinTech accelerator (SBC Fintech Amsterdam 1921 B.V.) on the Rabo&Crowd platform, powered by Nxchange, a next-generation stock exchange.
After the first successful FinTech & CyberSecurity program in Amsterdam, Startupbootcamp is launching its next program. Up until now, only professional investors could invest into the accelerator programs. With Rabo & Crowd, the broader public can now also invest in the accelerator program with SBC Fintech Amsterdam 1921 B.V. by becoming the first publicly listed accelerator in the world.
Startupbootcamp plans to accelerate thirty startups in total from the FinTech & CyberSecurity sector in the next three years in exchange for 6% to 8% of company equity.
Out of the hundreds of applications worldwide, Startupbootcamp selects only ten of the most promising startups annually. Startupbootcamp will intensively guide the selected startups, connect them with its network of large corporations, and giving them access to hundreds of mentors and investors in its ecosystem. Startupbootcamp pay the startups 15 thousand euros to cover the costs of taking part in the program.
After three months of intensive acceleration, the startups become part of the Startupbootcamp alumni network and receive help with raising capital. SBC Fintech Amsterdam 1921 B.V. aims to resell the stake in its startups within the next seven years.
Investors can subscribe to the depository receipts from 23rd October to 19th November. These represent a value of 2.325 million euros.
Partners in this Fintech & Cybersecurity accelerator program are Rabobank, Banca Sella, Hakrinbank and Capgemini.
Investors can register online until the 19th of November to be eligible for tickets of €37.500 each. The detailed Information Memorandum will be available on October 23rd on the website of Nxchange.
