He has worked in executive and senior management positions, with a broad business perspective in several countries across Latin America such as Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia and Puerto Rico. He is currently Head of Digital Strategy & Innovation at HSBC Mexico. In a globalized world like ours, borders do not exist, that is why it is important to find solutions to common problems for people in different regions of the world. “It is necessary to involve people who have complementary experiences and teams that integrate an important range of different forms of thinking to solve problems in a much more comprehensive way,” says Juan Carlos.
For banks, the strategy of digital transformation and innovation is to be open to finding new ways to provide financial services for their clients. Hence, the importance of working with entrepreneurs and fintech startups, collaborating to solve business problems such as payment methods, artificial intelligence and blockchain – just to mention a few.
