The Startupbootcamp Experience Is More Than Just a 3-Month Program

The Startupbootcamp Experience Is More Than Just a 3-Month Program

Startup Energy Transition just announced their 100 top startups of 2019 from the International SET Awards Competition. 450 startups from 80 countries competed in one of five categories to showcase how their business combats climate change and supports the clean energy transition. Three of these elite startups, Lexx, Uprise, and WePower, were all part of the smart energy cohort last year, and continue to disrupt the industry post-accelerator program.

The evaluation processes over 450 startups in four stages: criteria management, early metrics model, high-level jury evaluation, and quantitative and qualitative score weighting. At the end of this selection process, the SET100 startups were announced.

Lexx, Uprise, and WePower reflect that fast-paced innovation and acceleration occur beyond our three-month program, as seen with their award of the SET100. Accelerator programs act as the catalyst for our startups so they can achieve success after Demo Day and address large-scale issues, such as climate change. Our EA18 alumni have been able to capitalise on our global network of startups, mentors, and partners in order to achieve the honour of being named part of the top 100 startups in 2019.

Over the course of 3 months in 2018, Lexx, Uprise and WePower had access to over 100 industry experts and access to a global network of investors. Our program is the leading global accelerator for innovative startups solving problems in Energy Efficiency, Energy Independence, Digitisation, and Analytics. The ultimate goal of the program is to help scale their startups to become industry-leading companies.

We are so happy to see the success of our alumni just one year after the graduation of our EA18 cohort! The Startupbootcamp experience, support, and mindset are not temporary benefits, they are advantages for life.
