10 Global Startups Joining Startupbootcamp Smart City Dubai’s Second Cohort

23- August-2018

Dubai, August 23 – Startupbootcamp Smart City Dubai, the leading Smart City Accelerator in the MENA region, announced on the 15th of August the 10 startups joining its second cohort.

Following our first cohort success, we launched our second cycle last April which received more than 600 applications from all over the world. 20 startups were shortlisted and invited to attend the intensive 3 days event. The startups had to go through pitch training and mentor 1:1 meetings with more than 20 mentors from our network, before the top 10 startups were selected.

Selected startups will now join the three-month intensive program starting on the 17th of September. Teams will work thoroughly on shaping their product with the help of our wide mentor network. After the three months, the 10 teams will pitch their ideas once again in front of a panel of investors and corporate executives during Demo Day,  where the startups will officially ‘graduate’ from the program.
