Accenture Becomes Newest Member of Startupbootcamp Digital Health Miami

MIAMI; Nov 13, 2017—Startupbootcamp Digital Health Miami, one of the world’s largest and most influential innovation engines, has recently teamed with Accenture to support its growing roster of healthcare entrepreneurs.

“Accenture brings deep industry insights and a global network of healthcare experts to Startupbootcamp (SBC) Miami,” said Christian Seale, general partner of Startupbootcamp Miami. “This effort further positions Miami as a globally recognized hub for healthcare innovation and brings a new level of experience to our innovation ecosystem.”

Accenture has assigned some of its health managing directors and senior managers to coach and engage emerging digital health companies for future viability.

“This effort will provide an environment for our healthcare clients to advance their own innovation agenda and connect to a broader ecosystem of digital health startups,” said Brian Kalis, managing director of digital health at Accenture. “This type of collaborative innovation offers the potential to accelerate the speed and scale of digital health advancements.”

Accenture joins a working group of premiere healthcare organizations at SBC Miami, including Miami Children’s Hospital, Florida Blue, University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System. A key part of the accelerator model is aligning startups to well-established corporations, like Accenture, to connect entrepreneurs to a broader ecosystem of clients and industry leaders while providing them with feedback to help refine their offering and innovation agenda.
