Now in its 3rd year, Startupbootcamp Istanbul has selected 10 outstanding startups to join it’s intense 3-month acceleration program.


The 10 selected startups were chosen from over 830 applicants from 223 cities that applied during 3 months of recruitment.

What happened at Selection Days 2016?

The Startupbootcamp Istanbul Selection Days took place over 2 days this week and involved 29 startups, during which over 100+ investors and business experts mentored the teams by honing their pitch, developing their business model, and exploring ways to expand their market share.

Human Electric – Greece


IOT based parking guidance and occupancy management solution to find nearest parking and to retrieve a vehicle in large car parks.

Moodnode – Poland


Plug and play IOT based solution to intelligently manage your home lighting for personalization and energy efficiency.

Slothes – Turkey


Slothes is a smart clothing company that merges textiles with embedded technology to create functional products for fitness, safety, and outdoor activities.

Testributor – Greece


Continuous Integration platform allowing software developers to utilize their local machines to run automated testing procedures faster and more conveniently.

Umut Biotechnology – Turkey


Population and ethnicity-specific genetic risk assessment test using DNA biomarkers for breast cancer.

VRex – Georgia


Virtual Reality content platform offering 360-degree tours of destinations and hotels to help millions of tourists make more informed travel decisions and plans.

When does the program start?

Startupbootcamp Istanbul kicks off on August 1, 2016 when the startups from countries will relocate to Istanbul. Over 3 months they will receive extensive mentoring from over 200 entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate partners in addition to six months of free office space, over €500K worth in partner services, €15,000 seed funding per team and funding up to €250K through StartersHub.


The program concludes on Nov 15th with Demo Day where the startups will pitch to over 200+ investors and partners.
