Startup Analyst Trainee
Period: ASAP – end of October 2016
Remuneration: € 500 per month
Location: Startupbootcamp HQ at B. Amsterdam
As our perfect candidate, you love a dynamic environment where things change all the time. You are hands-on, pro-active and a real go-getter. You Get Things Done! You have an eye for detail and are a perfectionist when it comes to the organization of events. You love Excel, never procrastinate and miscommunication is your worst nightmare. You have a positive can-do mentality and you are a true problem solver. You’re fluent in English. Knowledge of marketing & social media is a big plus!
You’ll be working with our Scouting Analyst on the scouting process and smooth organization of the international FastTrack tour of our Amsterdam-based accelerator programs. Your key activities include:
Actively searching for hot startups that are in the right stage for our accelerator programs;
Putting together a startup hotlist, containing startups from all of Europe and beyond;
Organizing FastTracks and other scouting events throughout Europe;
Visiting pitching events, networking events and other startup events where we can scout;
Taking the lead in developing new, smart ways of scouting startups for our programs;
Contacting locations in the cities where we organize the FastTracks to host the events;
Promoting the FastTracks locally in the different cities we organize the tour;
Updating the website with the most relevant information of the events;
Supporting the organization of all the events at Startupbootcamp Amsterdam.
Last but not least, going for a walk with our Cuteness Manager/office dog Charlie (voluntary).
