First ever CEO Alumni Summit

First ever CEO Alumni Summit

02-Jul-2014 by Startupbootcamp

It’s only been four years since our humble beginnings and sometimes when you look around it’s hard to comprehend how much the Startupbootcamp family has grown and how far we’ve come.

From the first single accelerator in Copenhagen with only 10 teams we now have 8 programs across Europe and the Middle East with over 140 portfolio companies.

Last weekend something new happened – a Startupbootcamp CEO Summit took place. The main focus of this Summit was to share the vast amount of knowledge that is held in our ecosystem in the form of CEO learnings.

First Day

We were lucky to have Nick Sohnemann (Futurecandy) kick of the Summit with a high level overview of the technology that is going to change the future of individual consumer behavior over the next decade and its practical applications. The CEOs had the chance to try out Google Glass (that’s got to be the first one in line), Oculus Rift, a non visible keyboard and quite a few other gadgets that will become the norm in our future.

Followed was a Leadership Keynote by Holger Weiss (AUPEO!) on the what being a CEO actually means for him.

To finish the afternoon, our friends at Founder Centric, Jordan Schlipf and Salim Virani facilitated a peer-to-peer knowledge sharing workshop between the CEOs. Topics ranged from fundraising, customer engagement and everything inbetween.

Second Day

Our ‘’Growth Hacking’ day. Jordan Schlipf (Founder Centric) led a energetic and brain fuelling workshop for the CEOs on a domain that is central to all tech startups.
