Alongside our new teams here @ SBC A’dam, we are welcoming 5 Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs). These guys are experts in Business Development, Design and Coding, and are here to give themselves 100% to the startups to help them with any road bumps they may find on their journey.
Being 23, he is our youngest entrepreneur in residence. Last year he followed an entrepreneurship minor that flowered his love for the inspiring, dynamic and energetic startup world. Within this minor he founded the Newborn Club: a diaper subscription service. During the minor he also created a Facebook initiative that gained 30k followers. As an expert in design, concepting and storytelling, Wesley is here at SBC A’dam to help the teams not to only tell their stories, but to share them with the world.
Our coding king Pepijn will be joining us 3 days a week. The other days he will spend working on a company that enables touch in virtual reality environment using haptic interaction at Heemskerk Innovative Technology.
Pepijn has always been exploring entrepreneurship not only through his own company Eliandor but also his own coffee subscription service, distributing fresh coffee monthly to all coffee lovers (one of which is Pepijn himself). He is here to help our teams on the required tech for an in-your-hands application.
Guillermo Forteza Sanz
Guillermo previously worked for a range of international startups in Spain and Germany, one of those being Payleven. From these experiences, he stated that his biggest learning was working in a fast paced environment. Guillermo will be using his expertise to fulfil all the business, research and analytical needs of our teams.
“I want to share knowledge, and I want to gain knowledge, both I can do here at Startupbootcamp Amsterdam, I can’t wait” were Guillermo’s words on his first day.
With a background in corporate consulting, operations and business models, Ernst is the business mastermind. Inspired by his idol Richard Branson, he feels businesses should not be all about profit, but should revolve around giving something back to the audience. “I love to travel, and from my travels I became inspired by the difference in people and cultures. I can see this too at Startupbootcamp. Such a wide difference between teams and startups, but they all work together. It’s inspiring and I’m glad to be a part of it”.
Karolin is the first and only woman in the EIR team and is our organizational and coaching Queen. Karolin has worked in a variety of fields, from Law, Government and IT to education, and online marketing. She specializes in team coaching, communications and organizations. We all know that the team is the heart of a startup; it reflects through the startup and is what helps make each startup unique.
