Meet Startupbootcamp Amsterdam's New Mentors: Part 2

Today is the last day of applications for Startupbootcamp Amsterdam 2014 and we are really looking forward to welcoming the new teams. In the previous post we introduced 10 new mentors that will be joining our program. Today we are proud to introduce to you 10 more!

Gertjan Rosken is the CTO of MyOrder, a Rabobank m-commerce company. Besides his role as CTO, he is also working as Sr. Business Development Manager at Rabobank Nederland and responsible for strategy & innovation on mobile payments in retail.

Jan-Maarten Mulder is the Managing Director and Global Head Commodities at ABN AMRO. He has a strong international track record in finance, investments, and strategic business development. Jan- Maarten is a relationship builder with financial community & other stakeholders and a seasoned negotiator that has raised over $20billion of (debt) funding.

Jasper Staring is Founder, Co-founder at Finfiles, Fondsnieuws. Jasper is an entrepreneur who enjoys creating innovative concepts. He is interested and experienced in financial marketing, software development, online strategies and format development. With specific interest and experience in the Investment Management and Private Banking Industry, his main drive is to translate ideas into working and successful businesses.

Martijn Arts has co-founded a web agency in 1996 whilst being a student. From then on, he worked as an agency for clients but also produced innovative new products and startups. In 2006 he sold his company to Total Identity and became part of this renowned agency. Martijn is an ‘agency-guy’, he loves to work for other companies and persons.

Martijn Hamann started in 2006 at digital media/e-commerce investment fund Van den Ende & Deitmers. Until 2006, he was member of the Exec Director team at Endemol Group responsible for M&A and International Ops, realizing around 50 acquisitions, start-ups and JV projects during 1996-2006. He holds an Msc from Erasmus University.

Pascal De Mul is the Global Head of Hardware Partnerships of Spotify. As the Global Head, he owns the roll-out of Spotify across Mobile, Desktop, Home and Automotive devices. Simply said, Pascal makes Spotify blast from the biggest speakers. He is a regular speaker in the field of content and apps in home and automotive.

Ruben Gersons is an entrepreneur with a passion for innovation and technology. He founded online creative agency Rhinocreations (sold in 2006) and Rich media advertising company Adrime (sold in 2010). In 2012 he started Screen6, the multi-screen advertising company, where he is currently the CTO. He has always been eager to discuss new technologies and explore ideas with others that share his passion. That’s why he is now mentoring at Startupbootcamp.

Walter Blom is an investor, advisor and former CFO at Ziggo and Estro Group. He has a long and broad experience in energy, telecommunication/media, education and private equity. Walter has a track record in fast growing and successful organizations in multiple roles and responsibilities (operations, finance, sales, services).

Harry van Breen is a corporate strategist at Alliander, creating new business for an incumbent in a market facing disruptive changes. He mentions: “Working with startups invigorates me. I love supporting entrepreneurs on their road to success”.

Jef Keijzer is Sales Director at Network Hardware Trading.His strength lies in a quick, no-nonsense analysis of the optimal product/market combinations, followed by cashing opportunities where the first short-term deals may be closed. Jef supports in designing strategy, but, if needed, also carries the entire sales, marketing and PR process from cold call to CRM implementation to deal closing.
