On the 6th of November investors from all over Europe got together for Startupbootcamp Berlin’s second Demo Day at Umspannwerk in Berlin-Kreuzberg. After three intense months of mentorship, workshops, pivoting, acceleration and sleepless nights, the startups were ready to pitch in front of a room of high-profile VCs, angels and media.
The startups supported this year were selected from a pool of more than 400 applications worldwide. Not only did our teams use Demo Day to present the progress they have made over the last three months, but they also made some surprise on-stage announcements:
• Shoutr announced deal with Omate Smartwatch
• Avuxi got accepted to the SAP Big Data partner program
• Foodzai released the second version of their website
• Avuba announced their first paying customers
• ChatLingual will be testing with Lufthansa Global Telesales
• Achieved partners with Wooga
• High-Mobility‘s technology will be used in 100 Mercedes-Benz “test” cars
