Participants receive seed funding, join a co-working space with other startups in the program and receive a dedicated mentorship plan to accelerate their development plans. A combined package of €15k, office space, mentoring, connections & support services were offered to each startup in Israel to fast track product development. At the end of the program, participants pitch to prominent angel investors and venture capitalists for funding. More than half of Startupbootcamp teams to date have secured funding after completing the accelerator program.
Over the last three months teams have progressed their respective apps, attended a range of workshops and forged relationships with mentors and tech media industry contacts. They will present their product demos at the Demo Day event on the 25th of April at IBM Labs in Haifa.

Thingies – “If you like it…. Steal it”. World’s first *stealing* app. A novel and addictive social game featuring new opportunities for brand engagement and competitive promotions. Thingies have created an engaging way to share pictures of the things we love whereby users exchange items they own by *stealing* from one another. Digital theft is addictive and growing. TheName.is – Instant professional video profiles. Thename.is delivers real-time, interactive, aggregated and relevant information about a person in video snapshots. Their first working prototype is a business networking service that automatically creates personalised professional video profiles from LinkedIn, twitter and other social feeds. VideoStir – Create a virtual “spokesperson” on your website in minutes and boost online customer traction. VideoStir are utilising smartphone video features to bring film industry green screen tech to the masses. Their first application allows anyone to easily record and overlay a personalised greeting & walk through tutorial for a web service. Tribzi – “Empower consumers to have their say – share their ideas – have a positive impact on your brand – be part of your promotional campaigns.” Ecommerce tools to help online stores sell more through social engagement and custom offers to boost traffic, sales & customer loyalty. Tribzi’s first product is a sales landing page widget that lets users be active in the promotion of merchandise bought online. Team: Tomer Harry, Shiran Cohen
Voiceitt – Voice intonation UX for all apps. Patent protected engine that recognises voice intonation and intention enabling the easy creation of voice intonation activated apps. Voiceitt are creating the next wave of voice interfaces utilising proprietary intonation recognition technologies. Team: Danny Weissberg, Stas Tiomkin, Shalom Drori, Ori Shechter & Orna Luz
Pixtr – “Putting your best face forward”. Mobile app and image processing tech for automatic image manipulation with proprietary algorithms for facial recognition & improvement. Currently focused on one touch facial and picture enhancement. Pixtr, currently in beta, was a featured photo app in Apple’s AppStore in January. Team: Aviv Gadot, Yaron Recher, Avner Barr
Tamamy – Digital news publishing platform built in open source. Currently in development, the first release is focused towards online news media publishing and content aggregation.Tamamy streamlines the process for digital publishers to distribute to wider audiences and receive advertising and SEO revenue. Startupmotion – Crowdfunder for startups and organisations to raise funding and grow their support base. The first product is a prototype to help potential investors in tech startups reach informed decisions and fund the best teams.Team – Kalam Ali (SushiVP), Kai Turner (Oxidant), Itzik Mizrachi & Or Ron (Cellutions)
