We are delighted to have been selected for the ‘Best European Startup Accelerator/Incubator’ award. It’s great to get a stamp of validation from one of the biggest startup events in Europe. We were also thrilled to see that there are more Startupbootcamp related companies and individuals shortlisted for awards.

Shortlisted for ‘Best Startup Advisor/Mentor of the Year’


Alex Farcet has been shortlisted for ‘Best Startup Advisor/Mentor of the Year’. Alex was the founder of Startupbootcamp Copenhagen, which he passed over to Lars Buch in 2012 to move onto start another program Startupbootcamp Berlin, which has been a great success. He is completely devoted to helping entrepreneurs grow great companies, in his words “It is the dream job for me, I would pay to do this job”.

Shortlisted for ‘Best Startup from Outside Europe’


The Brazilian team Opara are a Startupbootcamp Dublin 2012 Alumni. Opara increases traceability of perishable produce across the entire chain of agricultural distribution, helping growers, packers and distributors manage each individual step throughout the chain: from the farm, to the supermarket. Shortlisted for ‘Best Startup Founder/Co-founders’


Eleanor Watson, CEO and Co-founder of Poikos, has been shortlisted for ‘Best Startup Founder/Co-founders’. Eleanor has been sweeping up awards this year, winning best startup at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna and getting through to the global finals of IBM SmartCamp in New York. See more info here.
