Coming up on the 16th of October, we are hosting a Startup Pitch Night in Tel Aviv featuring a selection of SBCIsrael teams. Shahar Namer, who heads up Startupbootcamp Israel & Sushi Venture Partners, will be answering your questions, discussing the 3 month program and the team selection process thoughout the evening. Our mentor list continues to grow. We’re delighted to welcome on board all our latest mentors including Yaniv Chechik of Payoneer, Ron Gura from eBay’s The Gifts Project, Shlomi Aizenberg at Playtika & Emma Butin who founded Kryon. Prominent in Israel and coming from great companies, we’re excited they’re joining us. The teams will benefit hugely from their combined insights & experiences of starting fast growing tech companies in Israel, including first hand accounts of recent acquisitions.

We’re also pleased to report Jeff Pulver, famous for the 140 Character Conferences (#140conf) and his work in VOIP, is also on board for SBCIsrael. Jeff, popular on the conference circuits across the US, Europe and Israel, is an experienced entrepreneur who co-founded Vonage and is actively investing in tech startups. The company won numerous awards, including Finalists for best company, best product and best entrepreneur in EMEA by the Stevie Awards.

Jeffrey Pulver is an American Internet entrepreneur known for his work as founder and chief executive of pulver.com and co-founder in Vonage. Pulver has been called a Voice over Internet Protocol pioneer, and has written extensively on VoIP telephony, and the need to develop an alternative to government regulation of its applications layer.
