Are you a Startup raising money? Startupbootcamp Amsterdam invites you!
The Term Sheet Battle is a live negotiation between a real investor and a real entrepreneur. We’re going to take the mystery out of what is mostly a closed and poorly understood process: the first negotiation about a “term sheet”.
A term sheet lays the groundwork for ensuring that the parties involved in a business transaction are in agreement on most major aspects of the deal. It also ensures that expensive legal charges involved in drawing up a binding agreement or contract are not incurred prematurely.
The event takes place at Het Werktheater (Oostenburgergracht 75, Amsterdam) on Tuesday, June 5 from 4PM to 7PM.
Ron Belt – “The Investor”
Managing Partner, Bluemind, Corporate Finance Strategy
Reinout te Brake – “The Entrepreneur”
Founder of iQU.com
Brad Furber – “The Referee”
(US securities lawyer with experience from dozens of deals on both sides of the table)
Patrick de Zeeuw – “The Master of Ceremony”
Founder and CEO of Startupbootcamp Amsterdam
