Startupbootcamp’s AI Innovation Program will connect startups, mentors, investors and corporates aiming to unlock the full potential of Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for program partners, keen on harnessing the power of AI to leverage business opportunities and join us in shaping the program.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the leading position when it comes to technological innovation. In today’s data-driven world, businesses gain competitive advantage by harnessing the potential of machine learning algorithms to better understand data insights, make smarter decisions and speed-up business development. Experts in the development of new business models, Startupbootcamp has a keen eye on disrupting markets.
About the Program
Run in close collaboration with Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), and the Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence (ICAI), the AI innovation program will run over a period of 3 years. Each year we’ll launch one thematic accelerator, with 10 to 12 high-potential founding teams. The technology focus will be around combining Machine Learning with Natural Language Processing and – Generation, Vision as well as building Expert Systems. All of these technologies are in fact, operating within areas in which companies across a variety of business industries can largely benefit from. Bas Rogaar, Managing Director at Startupbootcamp will lead the program.
The first AI Centric innovation program will target the Business Services Industry, including Staff Departments, addressing Legal, Human Resources and Accounting Services. We strongly believe that this relative low-profile AI-industry – in comparison to the overcrowded business areas such as Cybersecurity or Healthcare – will be disrupted by AI in the near future. This is primarily because the traditional nature of companies operating within these industries leave many AI-related business opportunities largely untapped. Technology focus here will be on Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and building Expert Systems.
The following two programs are expected to address Safety & Security (Machine Learning and Image recognition) and Logistics (Machine Learning and Planning), both areas in which AI is offering vast potential and that address industries relevant to the Amsterdam Ecosystem.
Based on our experience and the needs of our partners, specific startup target groups will be assigned. This will help us in creating and selecting an optimal mix of startup sub-verticals within the HR, Legal and Accounting Services domains. In general 25% of startups applying for our programs is Dutch, 50% European and 25% ROW. If you are a startup targeting the Business Services industry and you want to know more about the program, please contact us via this link.
