HealthXL is the world’s first truly global digital health mentor network. The selected participants for HealthXL in Spring 2013 are:

Claimsync (Ghana) – Ghana-based ClaimSync has developed software to help healthcare facilities automate their patients' records and to process medical records electronically.

Evinance (Canada)– Evinance has developed a real-time decision support platform based on evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

goAct (Australia) – Australian company goAct is specialising in web-based software solutions for mental health professionals and their clients.

myMedScore (USA) – myMedScore, a company that is pioneering a cloud-based medical credit scoring and engagement platform.

NurseBuddy (Finland) – Hailing from Finland, NurseBuddy is a tool that has been designed to help nurses manage their day-to-day jobs using tablet devices.

Nutritics (Ireland) – Nutritics is developing a diet and nutrition tracking and analysis software program.

Sense of Skin (Ireland) – Sense of Skin has come up with a technology-enabled programme to help people with sensitive skin avoid unsuitable health and beauty products.

We are looking for the best of the best, from anywhere in the world.

We accept teams under the following domains

Direct medical solutions, personalization, patient compliance, prevention and participatory health solutions, health economics, integrated solutions and more.

We look for teams with the following skills

Tech development, marketing & sales, design, business expertise with drive, vision and leadership, and we also believe marketing & research talents need to be in the team as they start their customer discovery and development. Be prepared to show our selection teams that you have these skills on board.

Will your team fit in with the others?

The atmosphere in HealthXL is open, direct, collaborative and hard-working. We have clear targets and deadlines. All sessions, including Demo Day, will take place in English.

Note that this accelerator is a full-time, intensive program. It often involves working late into the night and weekends. Be prepared to put your social life on hold! Don’t even think of combining it with a job or studies.

Seed Funding for each Team
€15.000 Euro per team. This is seed funding for your team to fund yourselves during the 3 months, so that 100% of your time can be dedicated to your project. You’ll need that focus!

Co-Working Space for Your Team
Get 6 Months free office space in the Trinity Enterprise Campus on Peirse St. in Dublin, it is positioned in the heart of the startup scene in Dublin, a stones throw away from the European HQ’s of Facebook, Google and Twitter.

Housing
HealthXL will organize low cost housing for the teams who apply to the program.

HealthXL/Startupbootcamp Alumni, London Investor Demo Day and Silicon Valley Demo Day
With our Alumni Growth Manager we continue to guide our startups actively after they finish a HealthXL program. All startups who complete our programs can join the Alumni High Growth Program. As part of the Alumni Growth Program you will get the opportunity to join the Silicon Valley road trip, meet investors in the Valley and take part in our Sillicon Valley Demo Day. This same program gives our Alumni the chance to take part in the Annual Demo Day in London where they pitch top top VC's from "The City".

HealthXL Receives in Return
8% Equity, each team signs the same contract at each of the Startupbootcamp locations. The contracts may vary per city, depending on local circumstances and laws. The contract will be available soon. We’ll also post a version of the contract online that explains the terms in "simple language".

Team Contracts
We like to keep things simple and transparent. All of the Startupbootcamp teams in a specific city program will sign the same contract. There might be differences in the contract depending on the city program you will attend.
