Startupbootcamp Haifa is run by Paul-Rene Albertini and Shahar Namer together with a team of supporters. The Haifa program begins in January of each year and focuses on startups within internet and mobile technology. The program has over 150 mentors and also works closely with sponsors such as Deloitte, GKH, Tmura and Donna Abraham.
We’re looking for the best of the best, from anywhere in the world. Our critical selection process at Startupbootcamp is legendary, for a good reason. The ten teams we pick need to be ready to be accelerated to the next level. Here are some criteria we’re searching for:
We’re looking for strong startup teams that demonstrate initiative regardless of nationality. Our mentors and founders can spot talent and brilliance when they see it. If selected, you must be available to come to Haifa for the Selection Event Days and for the program period December 10th to March 14th 2012/13.
All startups in the internet, mobile, technology industry can apply.
You can apply with 2 founders but to really accelerate your startup we prefer a strong team of 3 people. We look for teams with the following skills – tech development, marketing & sales, design, business expertise with drive, vision and leadership, and we also believe marketing & research talents need to be in the team as they start their customer discovery and development. Be prepared to show our selection teams that you have these skills on board.
The atmosphere in Haifa is open, direct, collaborative and hard-working. We have clear targets and deadlines. All sessions, including Demo Day, will take place in English.
Note that this accelerator is a full-time, intensive program. It often involves working late into the night and weekends. Be prepared to put your social life on hold! Don’t even think of combining it with a job or studies.

Startupbootcamp Alumni, London Demo Day and Silicon Valley Demo Day
With our Alumni Growth Manager we continue to guide our startups actively after they finish a Startupbootcamp program. All startups who complete our programs can join the Alumni High Growth Program. As part of the Alumni Growth Program you will get the opportunity to join the Silicon Valley road trip, meet investors in the Valley and take part in our Sillicon Valley Demo Day. This same program gives our Alumni the chance to take part in the Annual Demo Day in London where they pitch top top VC's from "The City".
Startupbootcamp Receives in Return
8% Equity, each team signs the same contract at each of the Startupbootcamp locations.
We like to keep things simple and transparent. All of the Startupbootcamp teams in a specific city program will sign the same contract. There might be differences in the contract depending on the city program you will attend.
