Jasper Vredegoor (age 36, married, father of Pippa and Mees) has over 10 years of experience in fast growing technology environments. He started his career during the emergence of the car navigation industry which would grow to concur the world. In these positions, Jasper witnessed the complete lifecycle of a fast-growing technology company from semi start-up to AEX company. He was literally inside the tornado for over 10 years. Jaspers’ skillset is diverse and includes (corporate) finance, strategy, communications and business development. In charge of investor relations Jasper was part of Tele Atlas’s global Management Team and operated as the link between the company’s management and the capital markets pitching the company’s equity story to investors across the globe on a daily basis. This position also included a €200 mio funding round and €100 mio acquisition as well as a €530 mio follow-on offering at Euronext Amsterdam and delisting at Frankfurt Stock Exchange. These transactions include the selection of an investment bank, production of a prospectus and bookbuilding roadshows. In 2008 Tele Atlas was acquired by TomTom for €2.3 bio. Jasper gained substantial operational experience in Business Development positions in Europe and the USA. He lived and worked in San Francisco for 3 years where he built up regional sales in California’s Silicon Valley for a.o. key accounts such as Apple, TeleNav and Yahoo! In this position he also advised multiple technology start-ups in the region and developed new business models including the first navigation business model for Apple’s app store. Besides that he successfully negotiated and struck licensing deals in all of TomTom’s key verticals such as Internet, Automotive, Wireless and Navigation. Jasper still serves on the Advisory Board of one start-up in Speech Recognition from Mountain View.
