The Program

Startupbootcamp is a 3 month acceleration program that focuses on exposing and connecting startups to our expanding community of mentors and advisors that provide expertise from a multitude of industries. Startups in the programs get seed funding, free co-working space with other startups, services from sponsors and get a dedicated mentorship plan that will excel you from wherever you are in the development cycle to the next. Then at the end of the program, startups get a chance to pitch to top angel investors and venture capitalists for funding. Fact: Over 50% of our program graduates have gone on to receive funding for their projects.

Application Process

Step 1: Choose a City

Startupbootcamp runs the accelerator program a few times during the year in various cities. Depending on when you decide to apply, choose the city that is running a program during that time. Click on one of the cities at the very top of the page.

Step 2: Apply and Complete the Application

Apply to the program before the end date by clicking on the yellow “Apply Now” button on the right navigation of every page or visiting this link. It will take you to our application program at F6S where you will have to complete a profile and answer all questions on the application form. Apply soon, as it will give the team at Startupbootcamp the opportunity to get to know you better and see the program you make during the application program.

Step 3: Get Ready for Selection Day

If you are chosen for the next round, Startupbootcamp will contact you and invite you for a two day selection event in the program’s city. Be prepared to take your team on a trip to the city of the program you applied for!

5 Tips to Get Accepted

1. Be 100% Committed

Joining Startupbootcamp requires total focus and availability. The rest of your life — from jobs to studies to, yes, your social life — has to be on hold.

2. Be a Team

We love teams who have done stuff together before – another startup, being colleagues, or just knowing each other really well. Startupbootcamp will put on tons of pressure and tension. We look for tight teams who can handle it.

3. Be Coachable

Of course your idea and product are brilliant. But can you listen to (often contradictory) input, see the wood for the trees and act on the best advice for you?

4. Be Resilient

You and your idea will be questioned, argued with and pushed around. You have to be determined, unstoppable.

5. Have a track record

This may be your first startup. But what have you achieved before that’s truly impressive?

The soft stuff
Have you noticed how a lot of what we look for has to do with subjective ‘soft’ stuff? That’s because entrepreneurship has as much or more to do with human characteristics, such as resilience, as it does with having a good idea.
If you want to enhance your chances of being accepted to Startupbootcamp, add a video to your application or meet us face to face. The earlier we get to know the better we get to know you.
